Feeling motivated...
I FINALLY went to Planet Fitness yesterday morning, checked the place out, wandered around and settled on a nicely situated elliptical machine nearish to the TV showing Regis and Kelly. Fast forward 18 minutes... I'm feeling great, a little numb in the feet but overall dandy. Good arm and leg workout. The question I'm stewing over is: can a predominantly low-impact exercise done consistently for a number of weeks hamper my long-term running goals?
